KIFID - Dutch Institute for Financial Disputes

The Kifid ruled that Interbank should recalculate the interest owed and repay overpaid interest to customers. Interbank, part of the French Crédit Agricole, made this recalculation from 1 January 2008. However, the loans had been taken out a few years earlier. The victims therefore demanded that the recalculation be done from the beginning of the term. Crédit Agricole has set aside approximately € 123 million.
