ASA - Advertising Standards Authority

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), the UK's regulator of advertising, criticizes HSBC for only mentioning its green financing and omitting to talk about its activities in carbon-based sectors. For the first time in the United Kingdom, a bank has been banned from using climate-related advertisements that are deemed to be misleading or partially false.
